Slutsky called the West an opponent of Russia Lenta.ru

Deputy of the state Duma of the seventh convocation from LDPR Leonid Slutsky, who can lead the international Committee of the lower house of Parliament, spoke about the relations between Russia and the West. It is reported RIA Novosti on Tuesday, September 27.

“the West continues in the emerging world architecture of the 21st century to be our strategic opponent. Russia continues to be the opponent, in turn, to the West in building a unipolar world order,” — said Slutsky in interview to Agency.

the MP noted that while in the West there are more forces that come to the conclusion, “not to speak in favour of a unipolar world based on blood and suppression of those countries and regimes that strongly with such a world does not agree.” He believes that Russia, in particular, its members of Parliament, there are enough allies.

Slutsky also called for “orderly movement in the direction of return to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), however only under the condition that will be revised the discriminatory mechanism against the Russian delegation.
