The foreign Ministry recommended the Russians to be careful on the anniversary of the operation in Syria – RBC

the Russian foreign Ministry recommended that the overseas Russians “to take reasonable precautions” on September 30. This day marks a year since the Russian military operation in Syria

the Russian foreign Ministry has published on its website recommendations of the citizens residing or living abroad. “In Moscow drew attention to the appeals of a number of organizations, including Islamic ones, to hold on September 30 in conjunction with the Friday prayers of a so-called world day of anger and protest against a new round of fighting in Aleppo”, — stated in the message.

In this regard, the foreign Ministry recommended that Russians who are abroad, “to take reasonable precautions and to refrain from visiting places where the “anger and protest can be held against their dignity and security”.

September 30 marks a year since the beginning of operations in Syria, the aerospace defence forces of Russia against the group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia). On this day President Vladimir Putin got permission of the Federation Council to use troops in that country.

Also on 30 September, to be held the funeral of former President of Israel Shimon Peres. In regard to the “day of rage” called on Palestinian Hamas, who proposed thus to celebrate the anniversary of the intifada, Press TV said.

The ground attack was accompanied by bombing militant positions in different parts of the city. The United Nations Foundation, UNICEF pointed out that as a result of air strikes killed more than 90 children.
