BRUSSELS, September 8. EU postponed the adoption of a new package of sanctions against Russia, scheduled for Monday, as some EU countries want to discuss how their removal if the fragile truce in Ukraine will not be disturbed. It is reported by Reuters news agency, citing diplomatic sources.

According to the agency, EU diplomats were to begin meeting on the imposition of sanctions at 20:00 MSK, during which it was planned to decide whether to introduce new sanctions and cancel them in the case of the cease-fire in Ukraine or not to introduce them until all.
