In this regard, the prosecutor’s office made the executive director of “The Voice” a view that the organization challenged in court.

In November 2012, the law ordered financed from abroad political NGOs to register as “foreign agents.” In June 2013 the Ministry of Justice was right to recognize the NCO “foreign agents” in its sole discretion and included in a roster of five organizations, including “The Voice”. Russian NGOs have repeatedly expressed their opposition to the law and appealed against it, including the European Court of Human Rights.
