«Our Western colleagues sometimes say that Russia is no longer” business as usual “will not, and I am convinced that this is So. In this we agree with them, “- quoted Lavrov« Interfax ».

« There will be no “business as usual” when we tried to impose agreements that take into account first and foremost the interests of either the EU or the US, and convinced that it will not damage our interests. This story is over “, – the minister added.

According to Lavrov, Moscow is ready to work closely with the western partners, including the United States and Europe. However, this is only possible if the relationship will be equal and mutually beneficial, he said. Lavrov also noted the need for “non-interference in the internal affairs of each other” and “respect for the fundamental interests of each side».

«At the same time the Western countries continue to take unilateral benefits and even punish us for an independent foreign policy” – Lavrov added, noting that Moscow will take this into account in their actions.

Moscow’s relations with the West deteriorated in 2014 after joining the Crimea to Russia. US and European countries have imposed sanctions against Russia, the Kremlin said the introduction of the product of the embargo. In the recent years there are attempts to establish a dialogue. So on December 15 in Moscow held three hours of talks Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Secretary of State John Kerry. The meeting focused on Syria, Ukraine and sanctions against Russia.
