In the main investigation department of the TFR completed criminal investigation into the plane crash in the Yaroslavl region of Yak-42, which caused the death of 44 people, including the basic structure of the hockey club “Lokomotiv”. The final charge is shown former Deputy Director General for the organization of flight operations of airlines “YAK SERVICE” Vadim Timofeev.
The main causes of the tragedy, as established investigators began to malfunction of the crew of the aircraft during take-off from the airport Yaroslavl Yaroslavl region . Neither the commander of the vessel, or the co-pilot had no right at that time to be at the controls of the aircraft, and were allowed to fly with violations.
According to the investigation, for the organization of flight operations, the airline posted Vadim Timofeev and he is obliged to was to maintain the qualification of flight personnel, to monitor the improvement of their professional skills and training. Timofeev only had the right to prevent or remove crews from flying.
– Vadim Timofeev made the crew of “Yak-42″ for the flight that day is illegal. In particular, the commander was admitted on the basis of falsified documents, the co-pilot did not graduate retraining on this type of vessel, and had no right to fly, – said the representative TFR Vladimir Markin. – Timofeev, there was no doubt that the crew did not pass the required course of study, does not have the full amount of skill to perform safe flight.
Also, the investigation revealed that Timofeev almost did not analyze the data flight recorders that capture pilot error . And mistakes have killed the crew, as it turned out, there were many in previous flights. Moreover, both the pilot and the flight engineer in this composition was performed in the third flight of my life. Together, they have never trained, abnormal situations are not practiced.
For the first time such a situation occurred precisely during a flight aboard the “Yak-42».
