The State Duma of the “United Russia” offer to teach students the Russian language, literature and history on a single standard textbooks.
The corresponding amendments to the law have already been made by parliamentarians to the State Duma. Now fixing the state educational standards is a new requirement for the preparation of the general line of books on these subjects.

In the explanatory memorandum to the bill states that the approval of the general lines of textbooks will be done according to the results of the competitive selection committee.
