Italian Foreign Minister: EU relations with Russia need to be revised – First Channel

Federica Mogerini was appointed in late August for the next 5 years – lead instead of European diplomacy, Catherine Ashton.

During a speech at the European Parliament Mogerini outlined the main activities of the department. In particular, it stressed that the Ukrainian crisis has no military solution. Mogerini also made it clear that if the situation in Ukraine will improve, then announced sanctions against Russia may be withdrawn, but warned the deputies that the EU should prepare for the worst in terms of energy policy.
