Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation: Ufa became the new congress venue – Russian newspaper

Thanks to the BRICS and the SCO summit, which will begin tomorrow in Ufa, capital of Bashkortostan has become a new world-class congress venue. This was announced at a press briefing in Bashkiria Advisor to the President of Russia Anton Kobyakov.

– I would like to thank the people and Government of Bashkortostan for the excellent preparations for the summit, and Ufimtsev for your understanding and patience with the inconvenience that traditionally occur during such events. Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation praised the quality of Ufa and to the summits of the region.

– We have carried out extensive work with the Republic of Bashkortostan. In a short time, the region has improved transport and logistics infrastructure, built a new international terminal of the airport, the Congress Hall reconstructed from scratch to build six hotels. All congress base will remain here in Ufa, which will allow the city to host international forums, – said Anton Kobyakov. – The capital of Bashkortostan was a real a congress city. I hope Bashkortostan fully take advantage of all the opportunities provided by the summits.

By the way, among congress cities Kobyakov also called Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi, Kazan and Vladivostok.
