UVA, July 9 – RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin met the leaders of the BRICS countries, making it to the summit in Ufa. Welcome ceremony held in the congress hall.
In Ufa held July 8-10 at the same time the SCO and BRICS summits. This year, Russia presides in both these organizations.
The first arrived Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Then came the head of South Africa Jacob Zuma. The most recent came Dilma Rousseff President of Brazil.
President Putin greeted each arriving leaders and exchanged a few words with them.
