The head of Tuva Sholban Kara-ool confirmed on the eve of the debris found are indeed the remains of the disappeared in October 2014 Mi-8 helicopter. This was reported on the official website of the Republic.

Earlier it was reported that during avialesorazvedki on a hillside 100 km from Kyzyl were found wreckage of red color, which You can distinguish between the words “Air Tuva”. Authorities immediately speculated that the wreckage may belong to the missing helicopter in the fall. In place of discovery left operational investigative group.

As told RIA Novosti source in the emergency services in the region, the site of the helicopter crash found the bodies of ten people.

The search for the helicopter for a long time did not give result. October 10 it was reported that the helicopter Mi-8 “Tyva Air”, departing from Sorug Todzha area – Kyzyl not made contact. On board the helicopter were 12 people, including seven passengers. The helicopter was rented by one of the companies Sayanogorsk for measurements of snow on the area, where the installation of special equipment.
