“Levada-Centre”: 51% of Russians consider possible abuses during the elections to the State Duma – Kommersant

More than half of Russians (51%) believe that in the upcoming elections to the State Duma on September 18 will be certain abuses in the reverse sure every fourth citizen (22%), the results of the survey “Levada testify Center. ” Every second (54%) of those who believe the abuse potential, believes that they can have a significant impact on the elections, another 35% expect that the impact would be frivolous, and 5% of respondents are sure that this does not affect the election.

At the same time 21% of respondents expressed the view that the local election commissions can rig the results, a further 18% believe that during the election campaign can be provided an advantage of the “party of power”. Also interviewed expressed probable bribing voters by the authorities (15%) and opposition (11%). On the possible falsification of the results by the Central Election Commission (CEC) said 13% of Russians. At the same time majority of respondents (53%) trust the CEC of Russia, another 35% do not trust, 13% undecided.

In addition, 23% of Russians admitted that they are willing to sell for a certain amount of their vote in the elections to the State Duma. Of these, 11% rated their voice in the 5 th. Rubles, another 5% are ready to vote for a particular party for a larger amount. Two-thirds (63%) said they did not sell their vote for any money, another 14% were undecided.

The survey, “Levada-Center” was held in the period from 5 to 8 August among 1,600 people aged 18 years and older in 137 settlements of 48 regions of Russia. The statistical error does not exceed 3,4%.
