The Russian president chose candidates for the post of head of Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia. Proposals submitted to the Parliament of the Republic

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has submitted to the Parliament of North Ossetia and Karachay-Cherkessia, the candidates for the post of heads of republics. This is stated in a message posted on the Kremlin website.

For North Ossetia is the acting head of the republic Vyacheslav Bitarov, deputy chairman of the parliament of the republic Gary Kuchiev, as well as the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Information policy Elena Knyazev

For the Karachay-Cherkessia -. Acting head of Karachayevo-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov, deputy chairman of the parliament committee on national policy, foreign affairs, local government and business-profit organizations Victor Borodkin, as well as the Chairman of the Parliament Committee republic on science, education, culture, sports, youth and Tourism of bija Ismel.

Bitarov was appointed acting head of North Ossetia, 29 February. The previous head of the republic, Tamerlan Aguzarov, died on February 19 at the 53 th year in Moscow.

Temrezov became acting head of KCR 27 February. Putin appointed him to the post in connection with the expiration of the term of office Temrezova at the head of the republic.

Heads of both republics elections will take place on 18 September.
