Day of State Flag of Ukraine is celebrated on August 23. This holiday was approved in 2004 by the decree of the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.
Earlier, the State Flag Day was celebrated only in Kiev at the municipal level. The capital of this festival is celebrated on July 24.
