Divers Far Eastern regional search and rescue team EMERCOM of Russia, who worked at the crash site in the Sea of Okhotsk, the Mi-8, found in the cabin of the sunken ship “black boxes”. The correspondent “RG” head of the press service of the Far Eastern Regional Emergency Center of Russia Sergei Viktorov, without specifying the number of flight recorders found.
– Divers were unable to remove the “black box” because of damage to the hull. Tomorrow morning they try again. It is possible that the ship will be lifted out of the water with the help of special equipment – said Viktorov.
This morning, divers recovered from the Mi-8 and raised to the surface of the bodies of five passengers.
Let’s remind, in the evening on August 15 Mi-8 of airline “East”, following the route of the village of Polina Osipenko – Bay Ongachan Tuguro-Chumikansky area fell 3.5 kilometer from the site Ongachan in the waters of the bay of the same name Sea of Okhotsk. On board the helicopter were 16 people, 11 were saved.
On the eve of about 21.00 local time, seven injured were evacuated by helicopter to Khabarovsk. According to preliminary data, the condition of the people is satisfactory. One person was injured arm and taken to a hospital, and the rest are placed in hotels of the city. At the scene were passengers and three crew members – they work the investigators.
In fact the crash was prosecuted for violation of safety rules and operation of air transport, resulting in the death of two or more persons.
– Currently, investigators collect evidence base on the case: interrogate the victims who were brought to Khabarovsk, study and analyze documents seized in the airline.
