According to him, the group will include several dozen people, including members of the Public Chamber, State Duma deputies, members of the three departments of the Kremlin – domestic policy, public projects and public law.
The new structure will address the question of whether there should be changes to the legislation on NGOs, and what powers to address state institutions may transfer to the regions and local authorities.
The Group will start work in September. The first proposal, according to Volodin, expected in October, when the host forum of socially oriented NGOs in Moscow. In November, the National Forum of non-profit organizations, which prepares the Public Chamber, the idea will be offered to the country’s leadership. “If the president approves them, the ideas may in the future become law,” – said Volodin.
