LONDON, 26 Nov. /TASS/. Skydivers jumping in Kuban, which has killed three paratroopers, took place in normal conditions. This is stated in a statement on Saturday, the SC of the Russian Federation.
“According to investigators, on November 24 in accordance with the program of parachute jumps, the servicemen of the military unit 42091 weapons and equipment performed a landing with the aircraft Il-76. The head hopping was an officer of the military unit 61756. Safety landing on the ground was provided by military personnel of military units and 61765 45096. Despite the fact that jumping was carried out in normal weather conditions, three soldiers to a collection point parachute arrived. In the course of operational search activities organized were found on their bodies”, – stated in the SC.
In the UK confirmed that the Military investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Novorossiysk garrison brought criminal case concerning officials of military units and 45096 61756. They are suspected of committing a crime under part 3 of article 293 of the criminal code – “Negligence, entailed on imprudence death of two and more persons”.
Previously TASS reported that within two days after the bodies of three missing Marines were found in the bed of the river Kuban.
Military investigators seized documents regulating the conduct of these exercises, about the circumstances of the incident are being interrogated witnesses, and the witnesses. Preliminary investigation of the criminal case continues.
