At the Bovanenkovo field in Yamal there was an ignition of the gas exploration well, which is serviced by LLC “Urengoyburvod.” According to the press service of Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (YaNAO).
The depth of the well is 100 meters, the height of the torch 15 meters. According to preliminary data, as a result of the incident no one was hurt.
At the site works as a private fire brigade of 12 men and 2 units of special equipment. As of 17:58 MSK was no burning gas well, gas output was observed. Firefighters spend cooling rig.
