Three shopping centers involved in the case of Kazan “Admiral” arrest extended – Russian newspaper

The Soviet District Court of Kazan has extended the term of arrest of three defendants in the case of a fire in a shopping complex “Admiral”.

According to the press service of the court, until August 10, will be detained director of “Dawn” – the tenant shopping center Qahramanov Hussein. His deputy Gyulguseynu Najafov and CEO of the company that owns the complex Robert Khairullin arrest extended until August 11.

In the near future the court will consider the petition of the remaining defendants in the case, for which as a preventive measure related to deprivation of freedom.

Let us recall the fire in one of the largest shopping centers Kazan occurred March 11. The victims of the tragedy of 17 people, more than 70 injured. Two people are reported missing.

In the criminal liability in connection with the emergency involved 14 people. In addition to the heads of firms are officials Gosstroinadzor, Rosreestra and BTI employees Bailiff and three workers per day to repair the roof of the complex fire. Defendants in the case also announced an international arrest warrant billionaire Alexei Semin, who is the head of the board of directors of the company that owns the building.
