Russia has decided to impose a tax for disabled citizens – Look

the Bill according to which unemployed people will have to make payment for the actual use of social infrastructure, currently under development, said Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets.

“Now, a draft of the law, when those citizens who have chosen the path does not work, they will have to make a payment for actual use of social infrastructure. This draft law”, – said the Golodets during pravchasa in the Federation Council, RIA “Novosti”.

According to her, the Russian legislation allows Russians not to work, but they do not pay insurance contributions, including in system of obligatory medical insurance.

“Another part of the population we don’t have to pay fees from the payroll. These people we see, and that’s 68 million people. We have a total in the working age group of 75 million people. All the rest we see: we see their payroll and see where they live, see their age and so on. But we have to state is usually that the person wishes to work and not work”, – said the Golodets.

In may, the Ministry of labor reported that discussing the possibility of imposing a tax for able-bodied persons not officially employed in the same way as is done in Belarus. The Kremlin said that any decisions about tax for able-bodied, but not working people are not taken, the possibility of introducing such a tax is only one of the existing points of view. Later the Ministry abandoned this idea.

Recall that the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in 2015 signed a decree, according to which able-bodied citizens residing on the territory of Belarus, but it is not working and not paying taxes more than six months, will annually pay a fee in the amount of 20 basic units (about $ 250). Non-payment or incomplete payment of the fee is punishable by fine or administrative arrest with obligatory community service.

in addition, Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier about a possible release of self-employed citizens from taxes for a period of two years.

Most of the self-employed engaged in a gainful occupation, but does it in the shadows. On the one hand, these people pay no taxes, on the other hand, they can’t get any support, to participate in state programs.
