According to a source “Interfax”, the suspects were engaged in extortion from transport companies that are engaged in passenger transportation by taxi. The spokesman said that among those detained were the head of the Moscow Department of Rostransnadzor, Igor Surzhikov, head of the southern management of Rostransnadzor, Igor Vysotsky. In the framework of the criminal proceedings conducted about 30 searches, he added.
REN TV reported that the number of detainees has reached 10, and of the leaders except Surzhik detained the state inspector of the Department of transportation oversight in the Western, southwestern and southern administrative districts of Moscow Denis Zuev.
