Human rights activist Lyudmila Alexeyeva joined the HRC – On the eve

President Vladimir Putin turned on the head of the Moscow Helsinki Group Lyudmila Alexeyeva of the Presidential Council on Human Rights.

Earlier, the press secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov said that Putin approved the proposal of the HRC include human rights activist of the Human Rights Council human. The corresponding request to the Head of State directed the head of the Council Mikhail Fedotov, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova and former ombudsman Vladimir Lukin.

The proposal to return to the Council Alexeyev received from Fedotova, in April 2015. Lyudmila Alexeyeva was already in the HRC, but she went out of its membership in 2012, Tass reported.
