The State Duma adopted a law on amnesty of capital – Amic.ru

The State Duma at the meeting on Friday passed in the third reading a law on amnesty of capital. “The new law creates a legal basis for the involvement in the economy of the property, which was in the” gray “area, and re-register the property on its actual owners,” – said earlier in the consideration of the document at a cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The declaration may be granted only once. The declared assets within the amnesty of capital will not be subject to non-recurring fees and taxes.

Amnesty members will be exempt from criminal liability under Articles evasion of duties for the repatriation of funds to non-payment of customs duties, taxes and fees, on failure to perform duties of a tax agent to withhold funds and property of the organization or an individual entrepreneur, the expense of which must be made collecting taxes and duties.

The declarant shall be exempt from liability in the case provided for by these articles acts were committed before 1 January 2015. The law provides that the capital amnesty will not apply to persons convicted at the time of the amnesty, and those in respect of which the time of the amnesty was criminal case or administrative proceedings on the grounds on which the amnesty is conducted.

According to the law, the information contained in the declarations can not be used as a basis for criminal proceedings or evidence in the criminal case, writes the “Interfax”.
