Putin freed Volodin from the post of first Deputy head of the Kremlin administration – TASS

MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on dismissal of Vyacheslav Volodin from the post of first Deputy head of the Kremlin administration in connection with his election to the state Duma of the 7th convocation. About TASS reported the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

In the parliamentary elections of 18 September, Volodin was elected to the state Duma on the list of “United Russia”. After summarizing the results of voting at the meeting with the leaders of the past in the state Duma of the 7th convocation of parties Putin suggested deputies to support the candidacy Volodin to the post of speaker of the lower house of Parliament.

Later the Supreme and General councils of the “United Russia”, won the new composition of the Duma the constitutional majority, approved the candidacy of assistant to the post of speaker by the Chairman of the party, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Nomination Volodin supported LDPR and “Fair Russia” and the Communist faction has decided to nominate for the post of speaker of the candidate – Dmitry Novikov, Deputy Chairman of the party Central Committee.

Earlier, Russian President appointed Sergei Naryshkin, who served as speaker of the state Duma 6-th convocation, head of the foreign intelligence Service of the Russian Federation.
Elections to the state Duma of the 7th convocation took place on 18 September on a mixed system: 225 out of 450 MPs were elected by party lists and 225 in single – mandate constituencies; final results of the elections, the CEC approved the night of September 23. “United Russia” has received a total of 343 of the mandate of the Communist party – 42, LDPR – 39, “Fair Russia” – 23. One seat went to the “Homeland” (Alexander Zhuravlev), and the “Civic platform” (Rifat Shaikhutdinov), which are not held in the state Duma their lists. Also in the lower house was elected the independent candidate, Vladislav Reznik, who has already joined the faction of United Russia.

Vyacheslav Volodin was born in 1964 in the village of Alekseevka in Saratov region. In 1986 graduated from the Saratov Institute of mechanization of agriculture them. M. I. Kalinin majoring in “mechanical engineer”, in 1995 – Russian Academy of national economy and state service under the President of the Russian Federation (Ranepa) on the specialty “lawyer”. From 1990 to 1992 Volodin was Deputy of the Saratov city Council, then the business Manager, Deputy head of administration of Saratov, in 1993 – 1994 worked in the Volga personnel center . In 1994, Volodin was elected to the Saratov regional Duma, in April 1996, he was appointed first Deputy head of administration of Saratov region.

on 19 December 1999, Volodin was elected the Deputy of the state Duma of the third convocation under the list “Fatherland – All Russia”, in 2001 became the head of the faction, and then became part of the General Council of party “Unity and Fatherland” (December 2003 – “United Russia”). 7 December 2003 was elected a Deputy of the state Duma of the fourth convocation, became the Vice-speaker of the lower house.

In 2005-2010 Volodin was the Secretary of the Presidium of the General Council of the party “United Russia”. 2 Dec 2007 re-elected Deputy of the state Duma of the fifth convocation. Parliamentary authority Volodin was terminated early, on 1 November 2010 in connection with the transition to the civil service: from October 2010 to December 2011 he held the post of Deputy Prime Minister – chief of staff of the Russian government (Cabinet of Ministers was headed by Vladimir Putin).

In December 2011, Volodin stood in deputies of the state Duma of the sixth convocation, after the election refused the Deputy mandate, and on 27 December of the same year became the first Deputy head of presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
