Inspectors of traffic police will be able to deprive of the rights for excess of speed – Kommersant – Vedomosti

In Moscow began to work the system “pit stop”, allowing the DPS inspectors to quickly detain violators of the speed limit, writes “Kommersant” with reference to the Center of traffic organization. By far the most common penalty for this offence was a fine of 5,000 rubles., now the inspectors will be able to apply more stringent penalty – deprivation of rights for up to six months. 12,500 decisions on violation of the speed limit prescribed in 9 months of 2016, rights were deprived only 147 people.

the traffic police will be able to follow offenders for 50 laptops containing data on all violations recorded 934 established in the capital of the cameras. The decision about the necessity and possibility of prosecution and detention of violators will be taken for the calculated route, built by the system. In the case of a detention Protocol is drawn up on the spot and sent the documents to the court. Otherwise, the offender will receive a fine in the mail.

“Duplication or double the involvement of the owner of the vehicle for the violation is eliminated”, – speak in traffic police, explaining that at the time of the “pit-stop” systems “off of the total automated system”.
