All are connected to that network computers are protected from “non-certified flash drives and external hard disks.” Inside the “Internet” is already deployed military email service. For him, as according to “Izvestia”, allowed the transfer of classified information, including documents marked “Special importance”. Access to server rooms is strictly limited, said a source.

At the moment, according to him, the formation of a military network is complete, the final work was completed in late summer of this year. “Currently, we are planning it [the network] to expand by installing additional terminals in military units and institutions,” a source told the newspaper.

According to the representative of the Ministry of defense, the military infrastructure of the Internet is partially deployed on leased infrastructure “Rostelecom”, and in some places — on its own distributed infrastructure Ministry, which is not connected to the Internet. In addition, according to him, each military unit are already servers that encrypt and transmit information.

Also, as reported by the “Izvestia” in the military have their own Internet sites and domains. Access can be obtained only through the computers running on the mobile operating system of the armed forces, certified by service of protection of state secrets.
