“Fomin arrested under paragraph”C” of part 4 of article 204 of the criminal code (Commercial bribery in especially large size). The court decided to remand because he might abscond from trial, and because he is accused of especially grave corruption crime”, — said the press Secretary of the regional court.

Earlier it was reported that a court sanctioned the arrest Fomina until 21 December. Charges not specified.

Fomin was appointed head of the Baikal branch of the Russian Railways in may 2013. Since 2006 he has held the post of first Deputy head of the Sverdlovsk railway.
