Protecting the former head of the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense Evgenia Vasilyeva filed a complaint against the verdict, according to which she was sentenced to imprisonment for five years.
According to the press service of the Moscow Presnensky Court, the court entered summary complaint from one of the lawyers Vasilyeva. Thus, as noted by the court, the sentence will not be considered Vasilyeva entered into force before the complaint in Moscow City Court. Date of Appeal is not appointed yet.

The ex-clerk and her four accomplices were found guilty of money laundering and fraud with agency fee. At the same time the court acquitted Vasiliev on charges of embezzlement of shares 31st State Design Institute spetsstroitelstva 2 billion rubles, having considered unreliable expert opinion that the court’s opinion, overstated the value of the shares.
Even before the verdict Evgenia Vasilyeva defense said it would appeal the decision.
