The Commission of the State Duma for the construction of the Parliamentary Centre has already agreed with the bikers to postpone their club in Krylatskoye.

It is building in classical style – with columns, atriums, domes, high input groups and ancient porticoes. Buildings in the style of “high tech” is not supported by the jury. According to the decision of the State Duma on April 13, 2012 for the construction of the center of the Parliamentary special commission was created. It is composed of deputies from different factions, “United Russia”, “Fair Russia”, LDPR, the Communist Party. The objectives of the Committee include consideration of the concept of construction of the Parliamentary Centre, control over the course of design, construction and putting into operation of the Parliamentary Centre. Deputies approved the construction of the Parliamentary Centre in Mnevniki, and urban planning and land commission in Moscow approved the draft territory planning Mnevnikovskoy floodplain at the end of October last year. According to the draft, the new Parliament will take center area of ​​345 thousand square meters, which is almost 5 times more than the total area of ​​buildings occupied by the State Duma and the Federation Council now – 75 thousand square meters. Near the center will be built housing for MPs and there will be two new subway stations.

According to the first deputy chairman of the competition committee, the head of the State Duma Commission on the construction of the Parliamentary Centre, Vladimir Resin, in the first stage of the competition selected three equivalent winner. As noted by Vladimir Resin, “the parliament building – an architectural symbol of democracy.” That is why it is necessary to pay more attention to the choice of project leader. “Talking about the number of floors, and even more on the cost of the project is still early – the final version is not yet selected, the applicant is now working on its three proposals – said Resin. – When a winner – then we can talk about specifics. ”

Now the three leaders are busy creating layouts that in the second half of June will be on display in the State Duma and the Federation Council. Parliamentarians will be able to familiarize with the proposed options, and vote for the most appropriate. The final decision on the winner will bear the jury in the same structure as the first step. Earlier, Deputy Mayor for urban policy and the construction of Marat Khusnullin construction of the Parliamentary Centre in Mnevniki could begin this summer. According to him, all the preparatory work on the subject within the competence of the city, will be completed within one to two months, after which the investor will be able to enter the court. Who will be the main contractor of the construction – is still unknown. Construction is scheduled to finish in 2019.
