Tagansky court of the capital on Tuesday held a preliminary hearing on the case of painting the stars in the colors of Ukrainian flag. The defendants five persons: beysdzhampery (fans of extreme jumps from bridges and tall buildings) Alexander cellar, Alex Shirokozhuhov, Eugene and Anna Korotova Lepeshkina and Rufer (amateur travel on the roofs) Vladimir Podrezov.
All of them charged with vandalism and hooliganism on political grounds (Art. 214 and 213 of the Criminal Code). The main executor of the investigation considers Ukrainian Rufer Gregory Mustang (Paul Ushevtsa), he was arrested by the court in absentia.
According to the prosecution, Ushevets specially flew to Moscow early in the morning to 20 August 2014 to repaint the star on the spire of the high-rise on the waterfront Tinkers and set the flag of Ukraine. A few days after the incident, he confessed to carrying out this action, laying out a photo report on his page on the Internet.
The hearing was held in private. Four parachutists came to court themselves, since they are a year under house arrest. Under the escort went into the hall only Podrezov.

As told RBC defense attorneys Olga Lukmanova and Valery Lavrov, they asked the court to return the case to the prosecutor and to exclude some evidence – records of investigative actions with the participation of their clients, as well as details of telephone connections and location.
But the court rejected their request and set a date the merits of August 17.
According Lukmanova and Lavrov, four beysdzhamperov not acknowledge guilt. However, investigators believe that the jump from the roof of high-rise paratroopers committed to “draw attention to the action painting with a star,” says defense.

According to the lawyer, the only evidence in the case against the paratroopers are indications and Podrezova the main witness in the case of Cyril Ishutina Rufer. Already during the preliminary investigation they both began to assert that allegedly heard Mustang mentioned that during the campaign several parachutists jump off the roof, said Lavrov. But by the beysdzhamperami no Podrezov nor Ishutin were not familiar.

In August 2014 Mustang came from Kiev to Moscow, and, according to Ishutina, he already had the idea to take photos on any roof with a Ukrainian flag in his hands.
Ishutin in his testimony said that the idea was supported Rufer Vova, known under the nickname of the social network Straw ubiquitous (page with the same name belongs Podrezova) and a girl under the name Angel. They argued in the first testimony Ishutin, climbed along with the Mustang on the night of August 20 at the roof of high-rise buildings. The presence in the case of another suspect or witness investigation has not yet been reported.
Ishutin itself is not a defendant in this criminal case, but he was indicted for possession of narcotics, which police found him at the time search.
