Firefighters units of the Northern capital extinguished the fire in the Menshikov Palace in Lomonosov. There were no victims, the amount of damage becomes clear.

 

According to EMERCOM in St. Petersburg, a fire occurred in a one-story palace of the transition between the wings. Now the building is being restored.

The area of ​​the fire is initially not more than 30 meters, but given the historical value of the building, the palace was pulled all the possible force of Petrodvorets district – on-site work 60 firefighters and 50 vehicles. Three hours later, the fire was completely extinguished.

 

Menshikov Palace is considered the pearl of the complex Oranienbaum. It was built from 1711 to 1727, his style is defined as the baroque architects.
