 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed amendments to the law “On insurance pensions”, increasing the retirement age for civil servants. On Monday, May 23 reported on the Kremlin website.
 

 The bill, passed by parliament on May 18 raised the retirement age for persons holding public positions of the Russian Federation and its subjects, as well as the positions of municipal service. “Men are – for five years (to 65 years), women – eight years (to 63 years),” – said in a statement. It is noted that an increase will take place in stages, six months a year.
 

 In addition, from 15 to 20 years increases the length of time the civil service, entitlement to long service pension. It will also increase each year for six months. In addition, from one year to five years, increased by a minimum period of work as a deputy of the State Duma and Federation Council member to be eligible for a monthly supplement to the insured retirement pension.
