Sociologists: 25 percent of Russians thought about emigration – Radіo Freedom

Most often, for the sake of a better life

A quarter of Russian citizens thought about emigration. These are the data of the survey, “Levada-Center”, which leads today, “Kommersant”.

Almost one in five Russians wanted to go beyond the limits of the former USSR for permanent residence. In 2015, the number of those who constituted 12 percent.

The survey also showed that half of Russians do not care that the rest of their compatriots in the West, buy property there, have bank accounts and send their children to learn. 26 percent believe that it is normal.
