The term of house arrest of the Director of the Library of Ukrainian literature was extended by six months, Komsomolskaya Pravda

“the Court has satisfied the petition of the investigator and extended the term of house arrest my client for 6 months, i.e. till April 28, 2017,” – said the lawyer Ivan Pavlov.

He noted that he asked the court to mitigate the measure of restraint Sharina and return the case to the Prosecutor. The woman allowed a two-hour walk, but the second request was not satisfied, reports TASS.

Sharina is under house arrest since 30 October 2015. The consequence considers, in 2011-2015 it is in violation of the law “On countering extremist activities” was distributing books Dmitry Korchinsky, recognized extremist by the court. And, according to the investigation, the Director spent the money intended to pay the lawyers library, in his defence in the first prosecution.
