MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. The number of violations in the elections to the state Duma, passed on September 18, could not change the overall pattern of voting. This was stated by the CEC Chairman, Ella Pamfilova in interview to the newspaper Vedomosti.
“I am deeply convinced and just know across the texture, which is: the number of violations, which was, in any way, could not erase the picture of the elections in General,” she said.
Pamfilova noted that the CEC did the analysis based on the specific complaints and given the significant difference between the regions. She stressed that this year the number of violations was an order of magnitude less than in 2011. In the election, the CEC acted as the main initiator for identification of violations that, according to Pamfilova, increased the confidence of the experts, public men and parties.
About the reappointment of the heads of election commissions, TECS and PECs

Responding to a question about possible legislative changes to presidential elections, Ella Pamfilova said that the CEC will put forward proposals for the simplification of the election procedure.
