In the Smolensk region discovered a WWII veteran Ivan Petrovich Ivanov, born in 1924, who resigned on May 7 in the woods and did not come home.
As Monday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Smolensk region, the veteran found today at about 08.45 in hunting “Baikal” Glinkovskogo forest, about 5 km from the house. His condition is satisfactory. Currently, a veteran hospitalized in the central district hospital.
In search of the missing veteran a total of 319 people attended and 50 units of equipment – rescuers, police, volunteers.
