“Progress Party” Alexei Navalny could lose official registration, ITAR-TASS reported with reference to the newspaper “Izvestia”. The fact that the statutory deadlines Party, established blogger-opposition supporters, did not have time to open the required number of regional offices.
At the end of February 2014 “Progress Party” was the first stage of registration in the Ministry of Justice, and then start register offices in the regions. According to the law, until 25 August (six months from the date of registration) in Russia was to be opened 43 representative (half of the total number of regions in the country), but so far recorded only 40 more to go to multiple lawsuits for failure to register. The party is likely to win the litigation, however, registration after the deadline will not be counted, as of August 25, the party had just 15 branches.
At the same time, the party may get an additional period, if the court proves the illegality received her refusals to register.
