Experts have called the city “where in Russia?” – Russian newspaper

The experts identified “where in Russia to live well.” Rate with such names, including 82 city was well-known blogger Ilya Varlamov on the results of a study conducted in conjunction with the agency “City Projects”.

The authors analyzed the first “active” cities on the basis of statistical indicators. Evaluation factors were divided into groups of indicators: economic, social, cultural and tourism.

The highest assessment and, accordingly, the first place in the rating got Sochi with 17 points. On the second line located Khanty-Mansiysk, who collected 14.92 points and closed the top three Kazan with 11 points.

Only 25 hundredths of points lost capital of Tatarstan St. Petersburg, was in fourth position. They are followed by Belgorod and Yakutsk, received by 10.25 points, while in sixth place with 10 points settled in Krasnodar and Syktyvkar.

Moscow analysts have given only the seventh position, which also shares with the Russian capital Krasnoyarsk who received similar to 9.75 points. Eighth line took just four cities: Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Vladivostok and Khabarovsk with 9.50 points. The least comfortable appeared Magadan, who finished last in 29th place, gaining only 3.83 points . Slightly better, judging by the rating, the situation in Elista, Murmansk, Ryazan, Ivanovo, and Nalchik, was also at the bottom of the list.

The blogger explained that the three selected indicators also take into account the different impact on the assessment criteria for each of which the city showed very interesting data.

For example, in the economic bloc assessed the number of routing areas of the airport. For example, from Novosibirsk aircraft fly on 90 destinations, and from similarities in geography and number of inhabitants of Omsk total to 13. Novosibirsk therefore received nine points, but only four Omsk. Another economic criterion showed the ratio of workers in the city with the total number of inhabitants. According to it, have been identified, “the city-retirees” – Makhachkala, Vladikavkaz and Nalchik (index 0.3), and the city where, on the contrary, a larger number of employees – Surgut (1.35) and Tambov (1,07).

Well, the title of a new cultural capital received Vladimir (4.77), ahead of Saint Petersburg (4,04).
