On Sunday in Moscow held an extraordinary congress of the party RPR-Parnassus. It was decided to abolish the institution of co-chairs, and to elect the sole leader Mikhail Kasyanov.
The need for change was due to the fact that the three co-chairs, elected in 2012, was left alone Kasyanov.
Vladimir Ryzhkov left RPR -PARNAS in February 2014 due to a conflict with the leadership, and Boris Nemtsov, was killed in February this year.
Kasyanov explained the transition to the sole leadership of the lack of figures suited to co-chair. But perhaps it will not last forever. With the advent of “leaders who can take over the relevant political meaning” the party will be able to go back to the leadership of several co-chairs. And it can happen in a couple of years.

Borisov fears that the name change will allow the territorial units of the Ministry of Justice to fix the party barriers to rename regional offices and at the end even prevent Parnas for the elections.
Kasyanov rested on the fact that a short and clear name of the party will be more convenient to work during the campaign.
