The EU has refuted the information on the revision of attitudes towards the referendum in Crimea – Versii.som

EU official denied reports that the EU is ready to reconsider its attitude towards the referendum in the Crimea. He said this to RBC.

“The position of the EU on the issue of Crimea remains unchanged,” – said the official.

Earlier, that the EU “may look at the results of the referendum” if the voting conduct in compliance with international law under the supervision of the OSCE, RIA Novosti reported citing a diplomatic source in Brussels.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Crimea Polonsky, commenting on the report, saying that the question of the referendum is not considered again.

June 27 reported that the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office questioned the legality of the transfer of Crimea to Ukraine.

The referendum on the status of Crimea and Sevastopol held March 16, 2014 after the change of government in Kiev, and the peninsula. According to the results 96% and 95% of the Crimean Sevastopol were in favor of joining Russia.

The results of the referendum did not recognize Kiev, calling them unconstitutional. Most countries have not recognized the referendum in the Crimea.
