Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the allocation of land to citizens in the Far East. The corresponding document was published on the official portal of legal information.
The bill “On the Far hectare” allows any Russian citizen to get free 1 ha in the Far East for five years: for residential construction, farm or business, but not near cities. In the sixth year of land can be issued in the lease or property. If a citizen does not use the land, their power will withdraw.
