UN, 1 Jul — RIA Novosti, Olga Denisova. Russia, on 1 October became Chairman of the UN Security Council. This month may end the process of selecting a new Secretary-General of the United Nations.

About 20 meetings

French permanent representative to the UN Francois Delattr said Thursday that he began discussions with members of the Security Council on the draft resolution. Work on the document, expected to continue during the Russian presidency in the security Council.
