At the office online store “Litres” were searched. They are associated with a case of extortion against the head of the Association for the protection of copyright on the Internet

Employees of the main investigation Department of the Metropolitan Directorate of the interior Ministry raided the office of the largest online store of electronic books “Litres” on the 2nd Zvenigorodskaya street, reports “Kommersant”. Information was confirmed by the company itself.

According to the newspaper, investigative actions were carried out within investigation of criminal case against the head of the Association for the protection of copyright on the Internet (ISAPI) Maxim Rabika on suspicion in extortion of 50 million rubles from the owner of the online store “Imobilco” Nikolay Belousov.

Rabuka and his business partner Artem Shcherbakov was detained October 6, after receiving 5 million rubles from Belousov.
