MOSCOW, November 29 – RIA Novosti. the Change of state symbols is an extremely big topic, which is a very clear argument, said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov told reporters. He also said that the presidential Administration has not yet received a request from the biker Alexander Zaldostanov about changing the coat of arms of Russia.
Earlier, the leader of the bike club “Night wolves” Alexander Zaldostanov appealed to President Vladimir Putin with a request to add to the coat of arms of the Soviet symbols: the star of Victory and ears of corn.
“I do not know yet about any letter, in fact, as far as I know, it did not officially entered into administration. But in this case, of course, if such a letter arrives – will be reported to the President on such a point of view,” Peskov said.
“You know, I wouldn’t have to now formulate a position on this, especially because it is not. Of course, let’s say, the change of state symbols is an extremely vast subject and it can certainly be a very clear argument”, — said the press Secretary of the President.
At the same time, answering the question, does it matter the origin of the initiative and is the President ready to consider proposals “from below”, Peskov said that Putin takes into account all points of view.
“Well, look, take into account the point of view – and the top and bottom, this is actually what Putin is doing always. He takes into account all points of view”, — said the press Secretary of the President.
As previously reported by RT, Zaldostanov in his letter pointed to the need to “fix the continuity” between the Russian Soviet and Imperial Russia. According to the “Night wolves” layout, the coat of arms “represents the two-headed eagle in the sun and framed by ears of corn. In the upper part of the emblem is five-pointed star of Victory. In the color image of the state emblem of the Russian Federation headed eagle, sun and spikes — gold, star — red framed by a gold border”.
