the investigation Committee opened a criminal case about swindle in especially large size (part 4 of article 159 of the Russian criminal code), the materials for which were collected by the FSB, the newspaper “Kommersant”. Information about the criminal case confirmed the acting head of the Department for interaction with mass media of Investigatory Committee of Russia Svetlana Petrenko, reports the official website of the Department. She pointed out that we are talking about the investigation into the theft by unidentified persons embezzlement of funds in the amount of not less than 50 million rubles allocated from the Federal budget on creation of a providing infrastructure of the cosmodrome Vostochny.

Work was assigned to the design Institute of JSC “Ipromashprom”, which is to complete the task are allowed to raise “checked, agreed and approved by the project organization”. The solution, according to investigators, was lobbied by General Director of “Mikos” Sergei Ostrovsky, had connections in the “Roskosmos” and “Ipromashprom”.

By December 2013 “Mikos” work not performed, however, as consider in SKR, Ostrovsky organized the signing of false acts of acceptance of the design documentation on which basis in January 2014 about his company received more than 70 million rubles. Then, investigators believe, Mr. Ostrovsky for 10 million rubles. hired employees 31 GPISS friends and architects to ensure that they performed work for “Mikos”. The remaining 60 million rubles for fictitious contracts was transferred to accounts of shell companies and cashed.

Ostrovsky already passed on one criminal case. In the summer he was found guilty on one count of embezzlement of funds allocated for the construction of the Eastern and sentenced to a five-year term and a fine of 800 thousand rubles.
