According to the MP, all attempts to change the health care system for the better in recent years have not yielded significant progress. Small towns are still experiencing an acute shortage of specialists, there are problems with medical equipment, and hospitals with questionable external and internal appearance, can be found in different regions of the country.
He believes that it is necessary not only to introduce post of commissioner for health, but also to increase funding for medicine in general.
The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation with interest took the initiative and promised to study it in more detail in the case of receipt of the request to the Ministry, the newspaper said.
