In Russia, you may receive an ombudsman to protect the health of citizens – BBC News

State Duma deputy from the Communist Party Vadim Solovyov proposed the introduction of Russian ombudsman for the protection of the health of citizens. He prepared a proposal addressed to Vladimir Putin, RIA Novosti reported.

The Commissioner for Health, according to the deputy, will monitor the health facilities in remote settlements of large cities, check the quality of medical services to the public, distribute qualified personnel to meet the needs of hospitals and clinics, particularly regional. Vadim Solovyov said that gets a lot of complaints: in the villages close hospitals and aid stations, expert help residents of the provinces can be obtained only at the level of regional institutions. That is what prompted him to propose Putin to introduce new Ombudsman.
