On 1 September 2015 the students will learn in general for the whole country textbooks on history, Russian language and literature. So suggests a group of deputies from the “United Russia”, which has made to the House amendments to the Education Act. Recall that the idea of creating a single textbook in February last year endorsed the Russian president Vladimir Putin – the truth, he said at the time only on the study of history. A group of deputies of the State Duma of the “United Russia” has expanded this idea and prepared amendment, according to which the common base line of textbooks to the same standards will be established in three subjects – “History”, “Russian” and “Literature”.
The bill was discussed after the introduction of on-site games with the participation of experts. As agreed by the meeting participants, these items – the three pillars of education in Russia – and the training necessary for them to coordinate, to the output of the educational institution to receive citizen and patriot of Russia.
As explained by the Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Security and Anti-Corruption Irina spring, now in arts education uses the principle of variability. Scientists and representatives of religious organizations supported the bill – many of them said that the need for a unified textbooks proved the political crisis in Ukraine, which occurred as a result of “brainwashing.” “Education becomes an aspect of national security. The explanatory note to the bill states that the selection of textbooks will conduct the tender committee of representatives from the Ministry of Education, regional officials, as well as professionals. Once the new textbooks have been prepared, they will publish on the website of the Ministry. Within a month, will be held a public examination, and then per month commission will compile the comments and give their authors, and those able to make changes to their works.
