The third day of search for missing in Tuva Mi-8 helicopter has not yielded results. In total, rescuers combed for 24 thousand square kilometers in area Todzha republic and found no trace of the missing aircraft, the press service of the Siberian Regional Emergency Center.

According to the agency, October 12, searches began at 08.00 local time, and were suspended at 19.00 due to the onset of darkness.

On the third day of the search and rescue operation was drawn 10 air boards, including the Siberian regional center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Also in the search operations involved eight the total number of land groups 331 people and 43 pieces of equipment, including the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations 95 people and 14 pieces of equipment

On Sunday were surveyed, 14.42 thousand square kilometers. Search and rescue operations will resume tomorrow morning.

According to the press service of the government of the region, Tuva continues to operate emergency mode.
