At the airport Magadan cargo plane An-26 skidded off the runway, the airport work is suspended, the press service of the regional central board MOE. The incident occurred on January 3, 2015 at 11:35 local time (4:35 MSK). AN-26, carrying cargo flight Magadan – Peace, while taxiing to the runway was rolled out to the margins. Killed and injured as a result of the accident no fire and filling the fuel did not happen, rescuers informed.
Because of the accident of the airport is suspended until 16:00 local time (09:00 MSK). Now the airport is working on transport AN-26 from the territory adjacent to the runway.

On January 2, a similar incident took place at Moscow’s Vnukovo. During landing the British business jet Embraer-135 skidded off the runway. On board were the only crew members, no one was hurt. According to preliminary data, the pilots were unable to keep the aircraft within the band. Due to the incident one of the runways of the airport has been closed for a while and left part of the aircraft to alternate airports.
